Karachi – In a heartbreaking incident of street crime, robbers claimed the life of 40-year-old Abdul Moeez S/o. Abdul Hafeez in Karachi’s Federal B Area. The tragedy unfolded at Block 15, Joharabad police station jurisdiction, when Moeez, a father of three, was gunned down during a robbery attempt outside his home.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 AM as Abdul Mooez was leaving his residence. Two armed suspects riding a motorcycle intercepted him, demanding his belongings. When Moeez resisted, one of the robbers shot him before fleeing the scene. Tragically, the gunshot wound proved fatal.
The Joharabad police have registered a case and launched an investigation. According to law enforcement, they are utilizing CCTV footage to track down the suspects.
This incident marks the fifth fatality in Karachi’s ongoing street crime crisis. Residents have expressed growing frustration and fear over the city’s deteriorating safety, urging authorities to take swift action against rising crime.
The victim, employed at a private company, leaves behind a grieving family, including his wife and three children. The senseless loss of a life due to street crime is a stark reminder of the urgent need for effective policing and community safety measures in Karachi.
