Mirza Ikhtiar Baig Wins NA – 241 FPCCI Congratulates its Former SVP & Business Community Leader
The President of FPCCI, Atif Ikram Sheikh, congratulated Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig on his election to the National Assembly of Pakistan (NA-241). In addition, Atif Ikram Sheikh stated that Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig is a highly esteemed former Senior Vice President of the FPCCI and a seasoned and successful leader in governance, having previously advised Pakistan’s Prime Minister on textile matters. In addition, he has spent many decades involved in political, social, humanitarian, and economic circles.
Atif Ikram Sheikh suggested that the next administration make use of his connections and experience in export markets and diplomatic circles. He holds the position of Honorary Consul General of Yemen in Pakistan, which is a testament to his diplomatic qualifications. He has also been granted the distinguished civic awards of Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and Sitara-e-Imtiaz by the Pakistani government.
