Inter-bank depreciation of PKR against US dollar continues

Dollar increased by 45 paise to Rs 284.30 in the interbank market

On Tuesday, the value of the dollar increased by 45 paise to Rs 284.30 in the interbank market and by one rupee to Rs 289 in the open market, as reported by currency dealers.

It’s important to note that since yesterday, the value of the US dollar relative to the rupee has risen everywhere around the country. The first business day of the week saw the US dollar gain 26 paise in value versus the Pakistani rupee, according to data posted on the social media website of the State Bank of Pakistan on Twitter.

The data show that the value of one US dollar has grown from 283 59 paise to 283 85 paise versus the value of the Indian rupee. The value of the US dollar has increased in comparison to the value of other currencies in the world.
